Jtrade Services
Jtrade is Japan’s most detailed trade statistics database based on HS classifications.
All data used in Jtrade are officially published by the Ministry of Finance, and Jtrade reflects the Ministry’s updates immediately after their release.
While the trade statistics published by the Ministry of Finance provide only numerical import and export data corresponding to HS codes (9-digit item numbers in Japan), Jtrade also outputs the product names associated with those HS codes.
In addition, search results can be printed, and data displayed in the browser can easily be copied and pasted into Excel sheets, allowing for effortless secondary processing.

Jtrade is Japan’s most comprehensive trade statistics database based on HS classifications, offering a powerful collection of big data dating back to 1988.
All figures come directly from the official trade statistics published by Japan’s Ministry of Finance, and Jtrade updates its database the same day the data are released—so you always have access to the latest information.
Unlike the raw statistics provided by the Ministry, which include only numerical import and export data by HS code (9-digit item numbers in Japan), Jtrade also displays the product names linked to each code, making the data easier to understand and utilize.
You can print results, or simply copy and paste data into Excel for quick analysis, reporting, and further processing — it’s that easy.

On the day of each monthly trade statistics release, we will send the Nationwide 9-digit Trade Statistics by Commodity and Country (up to 30 export and 30 import items) or the Port-specific 9-digit Trade Statistics by Commodity, Port, and Country (up to 30 export and 30 import items) to your registered email address as a PDF attachment.
