31st/Jan./2005 There was an error in the value of import from the United States for December 2004. The goods of a statistics number "0201.30-090"(fresh and refrigerated beef), 993kg and 343,000 yen are added up as import from the U.S. However, this was the error of import from Australia.(Country code.601) The data is corrected at the time of the next announcement. (The middle of March) We thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter.
Jan./2001 Effective from the April 2001 foreign trade statistics, both preliminary and definite report data will be supplied for imports.
Preliminary data of imports (9-digit stat. code numbers) will be added,from the April 2001 report, to the definite data of imports/exports currently included in the foreign trade statistics which are announced by the Ministry of Finance on a monthly basis.
