Welcome to Trade Statistics Download Page. This website is exclusive for JTAS annual members who have subscribed to our Trade Statistics floppy diskettes, one of our magnetic media service. To navigate through this website, you need to key in the User ID and Password previously provided. If you are a JTAS annual member with subscription to floppy diskette service and do not have your User ID and Password as yet, contact our Information Section immediately.

How to Download the data:

  1. Click either "Trade of Japan - Summary Table" or "Exports/Imports by Port of Clearance" button according to your subscription.
  2. Key in your User ID and Password correctly; these are case-sensitive, and it is also important to correctly distinguish between single and double-byte characters.
  3. Follow the instructions to be displayed on the screen.

 

About the JTAS Statistics Download Page

 

  1. This site can be accessed only by JTAS annual members who have subscribed to our Trade Statistics floppy diskette service. If you are a JTAS annual member with subscription to this service, you should have received your User ID and Password. Please check.
  2. As a rule, the data are updated on the 28th of every month, on/after which you may access this home page to obtain the latest data.
  3. The data are updated on a monthly basis. You can download the current data as many times as you need until 2 DAYS BEFORE the said date of monthly updating.
  4. The data are supplied in one single, self-extracting, compressed file.
  5. The data downloading time depends on the environment of your computer. The use of an broadband line is recommendable.
